Congratulations on the arrival of your little one! With 6 years of experience in newborn photography, I understand how important safety, patience, and structure are during a session.
Newborn photography is the art of photographing a newborn baby, usually while they are peacefully sleeping. The best time for a newborn session is when your baby is between 7 and 21 days old, as babies tend to sleep more deeply during this stage. Your baby's safety, comfort, warmth, hygiene, and well-being are always at the heart of our photoshoot. We prefer natural poses combined with minimal props and themes set-up.
Parents, siblings, grandparents and family are most welcome in the portraits. Posing with the baby will be guided by the team.
You can choose 2 themes set-up. If you wish to do more, then it gets additional charges. We advice going for 2, as it is adequate for the baby in one sitting.
Quick pointers
- Patience is the key for a newborn photoshoot. You are requested to relax, trust and enjoy the process.
- Your baby must have a tummy-full feed, and sleeping at ease
- Don't apply any oil or moisture and kajal on the face area before the shoot
- One hour is the actual shoot time, but we will go with the baby's pace (2-3 hours)
- If it's an uneasy day for your baby, with repeated crankiness, please reschedule after consultation.
- During winter, keep the baby's room warm according to the requirement
- Keep a quiet and noise free room for the shoot.
- Don't worry if your baby is 21+ days now, we can still make a newborn session. It takes a longer time to pose and patience.
