These terms apply to photography sessions booked with Ruupali Ahuja Photography. They are written to be readable rather than impressive — if anything here is unclear, ask before booking.

1. Booking and payment

A date is reserved once a booking fee of [BOOKING FEE PERCENTAGE] of the agreed package price has been paid. Until then, the date remains available to others.
The booking fee is deducted from the total. The remaining balance is due on the day of the shoot.
Accepted payment methods are cash, bank transfer and UPI.
Prices quoted are valid for [QUOTE VALIDITY PERIOD] from the date of the quote.

2. Rescheduling and cancellation

Newborn sessions are booked against a due date rather than a fixed day, and are rescheduled as a matter of course when the baby arrives. No fee applies.

Illness. If you, your child or the photographer is unwell, the session is moved. Do not attend a session while unwell — newborns are photographed at these sessions.
Rescheduling by you. Sessions may be moved with at least [RESCHEDULE NOTICE PERIOD] notice at no charge. Further changes may be treated as a new booking.
Cancellation by you. The booking fee is non-refundable. Any amount paid beyond the booking fee is returned in full.
Cancellation by us. If we cannot photograph your session — illness, equipment failure, or anything else — we will offer the earliest alternative date or a full refund of everything paid, at your choice.

3. The session

Session lengths are as described in your package. Sessions are paced around babies and children, and time for feeding and settling is included rather than deducted.
Arriving significantly late may shorten your session, as later bookings cannot be pushed back.
The safety of your child comes before any photograph. Composite techniques are used for any pose that requires support. We will decline a request that we consider unsafe.
You are responsible for supervising your children during the session.

4. Delivery of photographs

Edited photographs are delivered in a private online gallery within five days of the session.
The number of final images is as stated in your package. Which images are delivered is the photographer's editorial decision.
Galleries remain available for 30 days after delivery. Please download and back up your photographs within that time.
Unedited or raw files are not supplied. Original files are retained for 45 days after delivery, after which they may be deleted — please download and back up your gallery promptly.

5. Copyright and how images may be used

Copyright in all photographs remains with Ruupali Ahuja Photography.
You receive a personal-use licence: print your photographs, share them with family, and post them on your own social media. A credit is appreciated but not required.
Commercial use, resale, or entry into competitions requires written permission.
Please do not crop, filter or otherwise edit delivered images before sharing them publicly.

6. Our use of your photographs

We will not publish your photographs anywhere — website, social media, print, or advertising — unless you have given explicit permission. That permission is asked for separately, is never a condition of booking, and can be withdrawn at any time by contacting us, after which the images are removed from anywhere we control.

7. Travel

Sessions in Noida and nearby Delhi NCR areas include travel. Beyond that — including outstation cities such as Lucknow and Hisar — travel and, where necessary, accommodation are quoted before booking and never added afterwards.

8. Liability

In the unlikely event of total equipment or data failure, our liability is limited to a full refund of all monies paid. Photographs are backed up during and after every session to reduce this risk.
We are not liable for circumstances beyond our control that prevent a session going ahead, including weather, venue restrictions, or events at a function running late.
Nothing in these terms limits liability where the law does not allow it to be limited.

9. Complaints

If something has gone wrong, contact rupaliiphotography@gmail.com and we will respond within [RESPONSE PERIOD]. Most problems are resolvable if raised early.

10. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of [JURISDICTION], and any dispute is subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of [COURT JURISDICTION].
